Caddo Fire District #3 covers much of the western portion of Caddo Parish from the state line to Pines Road and from Bethany to South Lakeshore Drive. The district contains a diverse blend of industry, residential and transportation fire protection challenges. District #3 also provides mutual aid to the surrounding districts.

The department is responsible for fire suppression, prevention, rescue and advanced life support ambulance service.

Fire Chief Mitchell went to S3 Power Sports with an idea for a UTV based fire suppression and rescue vehicle, and S3 took the idea and ran. Not only did they outfit the vehicle with aftermarket accessories and custom features, but they donated the vehicle to the fire district!
