Simpson Horizon Full Face Off Road Motorcycle Helmet
Information:
The Horizon is the latest in off-road helmet technology.
Simpson’s new Horizon Helmet meets today’s Snell and DOT standards. Its
Carbon Fiber, Kevlar® and Fiberglass shell provides a high level of safety
at a very light weight. The removable and washable Coolmax® liner dissipates
sweat and helps keep the rider dry. The Hi-Flow mouth-guard and top vents
(with shut-offs) are designed to keep-out roost while creating the maximum
volume of airflow to the rider.
The
Horizon features:
-
Lightweight
-
Superior Strength
-
DOT and Snell M2000 Approved
-
Front and top ventilation system
-
Removable, washable liner
-
Moisture-wicking liner for a cooler ride
-
Non-slip goggle tabs
The Horizon is available in white, matte black, Old School
and Eagle.
Conclusion:
I used the Horizon on our
Mexico UTV run in May 2008 and was
very happy with the performance of this helmet. The Horizon fits well,
and I did not feel as fatigued as I have in the past with my old helmet.
We ran over 350 miles in three days so I was wearing the helmet for 6
- 10 hours a days for three days straight.
