Under Hood Storage Box

Under Hood Storage Box available from Yamaha

Storage is always at a premium on long rides, so when I found out that Yamaha had a storage box that fits under hood, I got one.

The box is bog enough for a 20 ft. tow strap, some tools and a few parts.  It comes with a lid that keeps things dry and pretty clean.

The box in attached to the frame with hook & loop adhesive squares.

I got mine from Hart's Rhino Motorsports near Sacramento, but they can also be ordered from your local Yamaha dealer.  The Yamaha part number is SSV-5UG-00-00.
