Installation:
Our test vehicle was a 2005 Ford F250 Superduty 4x4 Crew Cab
Diesel. The truck has 60,000 miles on it and has done its' fair share
of towing - flat bed trailer, 24' enclosed trailer and a 22' Weekend
Warrior. The shocks I ordered were part # RS999254 and RS999042.

We drive our 2005 Ford F250 in all different configurations.
Here it is at Sand Mountain with an empty flat-bed trailer.

The factory rubber front shock bushings where pretty worn out and malformed.
It was definitely time to swap them out.

The installation took about an hour and was real straight
forward. Basic tools were needed (all metric on my Ford Superduty).
Conclusion:
Very happy with the Rancho RS9000 XL shocks. The ride
is smoother when empty, but can be adjusted to firmer settings when towing
or loaded.
One thing I really liked is how it handles curves when there
are bumps. Before the whole truck would skip and it could be a bit
dangerous. Now the trucks tires stick to the ground.
