80 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah
Near the Bonneville Salt Flats
Description:
Nearly 36,000 acres of sand dunes, hills, and mud flats located
in the Great Salt Lake Desert are open to OHV use.
Elevation 4275 feet.
Directions:
Interstate 80 west from Salt Lake City. Take Knolls exit, then
south over I-80. Turn west onto Old Highway and go about 1/2 mile. Turn south
across the railroad track to enter the area.
Camping Area(s):
Pit toilets are the only improvements.
