RANCHO SUSPENSION SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2009 FORD F-150 4WD MODELS

PRECISELY ENGINEERED RANCHO® SUSPENSION SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2009 FORD F-150 4WD MODELS
LONG BEACH, CA, August 14, 2009 – Built to withstand the demand of both off- and on-road driving, Rancho has released a brand-new system for the 2009 Ford F-150, delivering a suspension system that maximizes handling and performance benefits. The new suspension – completely compatible with the Ford AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®) system – is now available through thousands of off-road performance retailers nationwide.Rancho, headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., is one of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories.
Utilizing legendary engineering design, the new Rancho F-1501 suspension system (p/n RS6518B) provides 4-inches of lift, levels the front and rear, and allows for the use of larger wheel and tire package (up to 35-in. tires and 18- and 20-in. wheels). Stock wheels can be re-used.Including a heavy-duty, one-piece subframe made from high-strength low- alloy steel, the system provides exceptional strength while installing easily and maintaining proper CV and driveshaft angles to minimize vibrations. Another key component of the system are CNC-machined extended steering knuckles. The system includes all alignment hardware and aligns to OE specifications.Rancho engineers maintained the factory location of the rack and pinion and included meticulously designed, maintenance-free components. Use of the system does not increase track width and ensures proper steering geometry.
The new system from Rancho is fully compatible with Rancho RS9000XL™ adjustable shock absorbers (front RS999806; rear RS999287) that feature a larger diameter reserve tube to allow for cooler and more consistent performance under the most demanding conditions. The RS9000XL shocks also are constructed with a larger-than-normal 18-mm diameter chromed piston rod and are finished in Liquid Metallic Silver. The shocks can be controlled with the Rancho MyRIDE™ Wireless Controller, providing wireless, instant manipulation of the shock ride profile. The system also includes rear leaf spring blocks. Every Rancho system includes all of the necessary components to complete the installation; detailed, full-color installation instructions; and a limited lifetime warranty. No drivetrain modifications are necessary. The system is only available in black.

2009 ORBA Supershow - February 7-8, 2009 in Del Mar, CA

ORBA Supershow
In just two years the ORBA SuperShow has established itself in the San Diego and Southern California market by consistently growing and creating a well-represented and enjoyable venue for everyone. With the proceeds from the show going directly into ORBA’s efforts to support off-road recreation and the off-road industry, ORBA intends to keep that momentum going. Please sign up and support the 2009 ORBA SuperShow February 7 and 8, 2009.

The Del Mar Fairgrounds will once again be the site for the show. This world class facility boasts beautiful Old World Spanish architecture and an enviable location—right next to the ocean. The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. in the city of Del Mar, California.
The success of the 2008 show definitely proved that San Diegans are ready for a great off-road show—so we are keeping that momentum going by planning very cool events for Saturday and Sunday.
Stay tuned for more information as the show nears. Our 2008 show filled two large exhibit halls, a pavilion tent, and the parking area in front of these halls. Additionally, vendors parked around a good portion of the TrophyKart race track. We are currently redesigning the track which will provide a better track design and also allow for more tractor-trailer rigs. One of the very fun features of this show is that there are loads of food vendors—the same delicious food that you get when you go to the fair. Another neat feature is the camping on site. You can bring your motorhome and camp just steps away from the show.
