The new Yoshimura Carbon Fiber Roost Guard not only protects the Honda's header from damage from rocks, dirt, mud and debris, but also keeps the mud from collecting and baking on the header, causing it to overheat and weaken the metal. This protective guard is especially important with titanium headers because titanium can become brittle at high temperatures, increasing the risk and severity of dents to the header.
